KLAIRS’ Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil is a mixture of various vegetable oils that are very healthy for our skin I just love this oil. It amuses me with all it's qualities and the way it takes care of my skin. I was really afraid to use this because I have really sensitive skin and I was also breaking out. I thought what if oil makes my skin more oily? But I was wrong. Even though I had really oily skin at that time, it didn't make my skin more oily. I have very sensitive skin and this didn't break me out either. It also helped me get rid of the dehydrated skin texture super fast. It gives a very soothing feeling to my skin after every use. KLAIRS’ Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil comes in very simple bottle with a pumper which makes it very easy for me to use. I used it everyday to remove my makeup. Removing makeup suddenly became fun. It easily melts down all my face makeup with only 1.5 pumps, I needed 2 pumps when I was wearing water proof mascara. It does remove water-proof makeup properly. It took me 5-6 months to finish the whole bottle.

How Do I Use It? 
I take 1.5-2 pumps and massage it on my dry face. After all the makeup is melted, I take a wet towel and rub it off then wash my face with a face wash.

I truly adore this product as it became a part of my daily life, I use it almost every day. I definitely love this product even the smell is not weird. I truly appreciate what it does to my skin and how it helps me every day. I will definitely rate it 10/10. If you are looking for a cleansing oil then do give this one a try.

Mario Badescu: Facial Spray ; Is It Worth It?

The packaging of Mario Badescu is very basic and simple. It comes in a semi-transparent plastic spray bottle with a cover cap. It disperses in a mist form and covers your face easily. The label outside has all the basic information about the product. It also says that this is suitable for all skin types.

Mario Badescu rosewater facial spray smells like fresh roses with some mild aloe vera. Unfortunately I don't like the scent of roses at all, it did bother me a bit.

Mario Badescu is a lifesaving product I am absolutely stunt of how it works. Currently I have acne-prone oily skin so I was really afraid that what if this hydration mist makes my skin more oily? But thankfully it did't. It helps to soothe my skin. The aloe actually moisturizes the skin. This gives a very mild cooling sensation. Whenever my skin feels dull or tight, I just spray it on my face and get a instant refreshing feeling plus hydration without making my skin too oily, my skin literally glows when I use it and looks much healthier. Keep in mind that hydration mists won't give you super hydration like moisturizers or face oils.

The small size is big enough but even small enough to fit your bag, during summer your skin is really dehydrated and during winter your skin is mostly dry, you can spray it for instant hydration and it doesn't even ruin your makeup unless you spray way to much and make your face super wet that you makeup might melt.

It says you can use it on your neck and hair too but I didn't spray it on my hair though.

I am a very lazy person and sometimes I skip moisturizer which is really bad I know, don't judge. But the next morning my skin feels super dry or dehydrated and I know it will be a lot harder to put on my makeup, at that time I spray it all over my face, make it super wet so when it dries my face is in a lot better condition and my makeup glides on smoothly. Sometimes when I am done with my makeup, I spray it again which makes the powdery/cake-y face disappear into a fresh and dewy look. It does hold my makeup for a long time too.

Overall : I am in love with this Mario Badescu facial spray for all its amazing qualities, the way it hydrates my skin, so easy to travel with, never caused any sort of break outs or any irritation on my face rather it soothes my skin and makes it feel refreshing. The only thing I didn’t like was the smell but I can keep it aside and adore all the amazing qualities it has and how it effects my everyday life.

I think it's kinda like a dupe for Mac fix plus, if you don't want to spend so much on Mac fix plus then you can always grab this one as it is a lot cheaper. I have both but I usually grab this one a lot more than fix plus. To be honest I actually use it everyday.

My Acne Story - How did I improve my skin

Hi guys, today I'm going to share my acne story. Most of you didn't know that I used to suffer from acnes. Last month I was under some medication. Those medicines were playing with my hormones and broke me out really bad. My acne were the reaction of those medicines. Though I did have acnes before but that was like normal pimples or acnes popping up during my mensuration cycle.

Before picture was taken on 21st May 2017 and the after picture was taken on 15th June 2017.

So it took me less than a month to recover from left to right.

Pimples are gone, tan is gone and scars are lighter than before.

I'm very embarrassed to put these pictures here as this might gross you out and I have no idea how people will react to it.

I am going to share all the products that I used to improve my skin. But just letting you know these products were given by any dermatologist. I randomly got this for myself and this worked for me doesn't mean this will work for you as we all have different types of skin. 

List and details of the products:

1) The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish - This is actually like a facewash, just letting you know if you have no idea what it is. 

When do I use it?

I use it in the morning after waking up, when I get back home and at night before putting on my night skin care routine. 

2) Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil - I use this to remove my makeup only. Removing you makeup properly is very important as it might clog pores. One of the common reason for getting acne is not removing your makeup properly. Even if it's just a face powder, you will have to make sure you clean your makeup properly. I have very sensitive skin and this oil based cleanser didn't break me out or make my skin oily. 

Exactly how do I remove my makeup?

At first I take two pumps and rub it on my face then wipe it off with a wet small tower then I use that vitamin c cleanser. 

3) The Body Shop Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner - This is a gem. This helped me a lot with the skin clearing process. Many people don't like this toner but I absolutely love it. This controls your acnes and also oil production. Whenever I use this trust me I hardly become oily. My skin type is combination, super dry in winter and super oily in summer. This worked great for me in both weather, during winter just use a very moisturizing oil or cream then it's fine. This is the first toner in life which didn't break me out. I use it after my makeup cleaning process and at night after my cleanser. Toner helps you to improve skin texture and sometimes it shrinks your pores depending on your skin type. This toner is a must have for me. Let me tell you what happened one day, I was home the whole day and I didn't even use any makeup. After cleaning my face with face wash I used my toner. Just look at the difference in these cotton pads. It cleans your skin really deeply and removes all kinds of dirt that face wash or normal toners can't remove from my experience. I was shocked. 5) Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil - People with acne prone or oily skin usually skip moisturizer. That's so wrong. You can never improve your skin if it's not healthy. You will be treating your skin with makeups and other skin care products but not providing it hydration? Moisturizing is a very important part of treating acne as moistened skin tends to loosen sebum built up inside pores. This way you are ruining you skin. 6) Caudalie Vinoperfect - It's a face serum which claims to remove scars and uneven skin tone. This might be too early to review as I have used it only 3 days but trust me this is a gem. Before the last 3 days I couldn't find anything that helped me remove acne scars or uneven skin tone. Three days back my skin was full of scars and uneven skin tone. Then I got this magic potion delivered. When I applied it for the first time the very next day I noticed the difference. This works very fast. This totally decreased my uneven skin tone and acnes scars in only 3 days. Unbelievable right? I still can't believe it. 

I didn't use any face masks at that moment but if you want to get a mask then I would recommend The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - Hit Or Miss?

All of a sudden my skin started to break out for hormonal reasons, I was looking for an acne/pimple treatment. Few days ago I saw Kylie Jenner snapping about this product so, I was like okay let's give this a try. 

Product Details:

This is an award winning product which is designed to shrink whiteheads. This is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and it claims not to irritate the area or over-dry your skin. This is a best-selling favorite among beauty editors, celebrities, and professionals worldwide. It contains Isopropyl Alcohol, Aqua (Water,Eau), Calamine, Camphor,Sulphur, Resorcinol, Salicylic Acid, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc,Glycerin. It's shelf life is 24months (2years). 

Packaging:

This comes in two bottles, one is plastic and another is glass. I think it's a great thing that they comes in plastic bottles too as it makes it easier to carry while you are traveling. It's basically a transparent bottle with a label and white cap, simple packaging. It contains transparent water like substance at the top and pink deposit at the bottom, the pink deposit is the magic. 29ml - $17

How to use:

Before bed, take a q-tip/cotton-bud and dip it inside the container into the pink deposit at the bottom of the bottle. Dab directly on your pimples: do not rub. Let dry and rinse off in the morning. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOTTLE BEFORE USE. If you use it in a wrong way then it might not work. 

I put the drying lotion at night before bed and the next morning I saw that it shrunk a lot, I repeated the same thing at night and the next day my pimple vanished, it was like the pimple never excited. It didn't leave any scar. This didn't irritate my skin like normal acne treatments and this didn't even dry out my skin. This is the most calmest and most effective acne/pimple treatment that I have  ever tried. This product might not work for cystic acne, it's only designed for white heads but they have another product for cystic acne which is called ''buffing lotion". Please keep in mind that this is not a scar treatment, it will heal your acne's but not scars. I have used lots of acne products before so I can say without hesitation that this is a gem, the best acne product ever. Most of the acne products doesn't work at all or takes months but this does work and faster than the others. This is a holy grail for me and I will keep on repurchasing this product for the rest of my life. Even if you have clear skin but sometimes you get 1 or 2 zits, you should still get this product cause this can cure your  those unwanted zits in a day or two. Do remember that this might take 2-4 days to clear up your acne depending on how deep it is. This product is a bit more pricey than most of the acne treatments but trust me it's worth every penny. 

Overall, this is an amazing product and my 'holy grail', a good medication indeed! After using this product I'm so satisfied that I wanna try more Mario Badescu skin care items. I recommend everyone to try this product out if you are having problems with acne/pimple/zits

SHOCKING Review : Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II

Once upon a time my newsfeed was full of this serum, everyone was raving about it. YouTube was full of this product and all the famous bloggers were saying that they love it and that is what made me buy it. Before buying this product I had a consultant with a skin expert from Estee lauder and she suggested me this serum.

Packaging: The Estee Lauder Night Repair Serum comes in a dark brown glass bottle with a golden cap. It has a dropper which makes the application more hygienic and you can get the right amount of product without wasting any. The serum itself has a transparent yellowish brown color to it. It's not too thick and neither runny, something in between. It doesn't have any strong scent to it, the scent is very subtle. It has a shelf life of 24months.

1.7oz - $95

3.9oz - $185

 

This is what I found in Estee Lauder's website: Lines and wrinkles look significantly reduced. More than 75% of women felt their skin looked more youthful in just 4 weeks. Skin feels smoother, hydrated, and stronger. 82% felt their skin was immediately hydrated. Skin looks younger, radiant, more even toned. 83% felt their skin looked healthier, fresher, more rested in just 4 weeks. 

This claims to be suitable for all skin types. It doesn't clog pores so this cannot cause acne and the serum is oil-free, fragrance free too. Most of the people are allergic to fragrance like me; this is good news for them. It claims to repair signs of aging, lines and wrinkles, dullness and dryness.

How to use:

Apply few drops on your hand and massage it to your face.

Use this at night and before using moisturizer.

Do not wash off, keep it over night.

Review: I have been using this serum for 1 and half years forcing myself to love it but I don't. I used this product with several moisturizers and face oils but no results at all. Maybe because I don't have any sign of aging yet that's why I didn't see any results. But it claims to fix dehydration but it didn't and it didn't make my face look radiant or healthy. It was like this product didn't do anything at all. I was very disappointed, this cost a lot and it didn't do anything at all. I was expecting this to be a bottle of magic after I saw all the positive reviews. Of course everyone has different types of skin and everything doesn't suit everyone, this didn't work for me that doesn't mean it won't work for you but I won't recommend this to anybody as it didn't work on me. I still can't believe this didn't do anything, maybe after six-seven years when my skin will become more mature, I will give another try.

Too Faced: Born This Way Foundation

Too faced Born This Way claims that they are oil-free, medium to full coverage foundation.      

Just like all the Too Faced products, this has a cute packaging too. A cute frosted bottle with a pump. The cap is plastic. The packing doesn't look cheap at all and to be honest when I pay $39 for a product I want it to have a great packaging too. You get 30ml of products and it has a shelf life of 12months.

 I ordered it online and choose my shade with the help of https://findation.com/. My face is lighter than my hands so don't get carried away with my hand swatch. The shade matched my face perfectly but it was looking very dull. This foundation has a sort of dullness in it. The shade that I got is called "Natural Beige".

ACNES?? Currently I have combination skin, which is a mixture of dry and oily at the same time. When I started using this foundation I had no acnes at all but few acne scars. After using it for a week I notice that my whole forehead wash full of acnes. I didn't understand why it was happening. I changed my makeup brushes, beauty blender and skin care routine too but no change at all but last week I finally found out that all the acnes are happening only because of this foundation.

Not just my forehead, now I have acnes on my cheeks and chin as well only because of this foundation. If you have acne-prone skin then I won't recommend you this foundation. I was really disappointed with this product as I thought this will work for me and acnes are the last thing that I would want. I will no longer use this foundation at all. 

Everything That You Need To Know :

1) Better application with sponge/beauty blender.

2) Not easy to blend if you have dry skin - You need to apply a good moisturizing primer and a moisturizer.

3) Not for acne-prone skin, broke me out.

4) Settles into fine lines

5) Doesn't cover hyper pigmentation or sun burns properly.

6) Does cover acne scars,

7) Transfers a lot.

8) Make pores visible after 2-3 hours of application - You can actually count my pores, I never faced this problem with any other foundation.

9) Does hold other makeup's properly for a long time.

10) Easy to wash off.

11) Feels sticky when you touch you face.

I used this foundation without primer, setting spray and touch-ups for 5 hours so that I could review it properly. I just ate and my lipstick was messed up, as I didn't want to touch-up my makeup so I didn't fix it.

After Five Hours:  It did last long and hold the rest of my makeup pretty well. My highlighter and blush is visible. My skin looks a bit oily but not too much which is a win win cause usually in 5 hours I have super oily skin without touch-ups but the major problem was that my pores were extremely visible, I could even count my pores. It felt sticky and heavy on my face after five hours but this didn't happen when I applied the foundation, at that time it felt a bit heavy but not sticky. The more you sweat, the stickier it gets. It started to disappear from my forehead and it was creasing a lot especially beside my nose.

It's not a bad foundation but people with acne-prone skin and pore problems should skip this. I did like the fact that it lasts long and holds the rest of my makeup for hours but it's not for me.

Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil: WOOP or WOMP?

My skin ended up being super duper dry in winter and no matter how much moisturizer I put it was not working for me then I decided to switch from moisturizer to face oil. In Sephora face oils can be pretty expensive and as I was broke at that time I decided to pick this up as it is cheap.

Review:

 The 15ml size is perfect for me as I travel a lot and I can carry it easily. Another good thing about this size is that it's only $16 so when I'm broke I can easily buy it. Even though 15ml seems really small but it lasts me around 3-5 months (depends on my usage).

  2) if you put too much it will look and feel greasy

  3)  you can use it at night or morning or both

  4) no spf

 5) absorbs faster

 6) didn’t break me out

  7) improves skin texture

I use it in the morning and at night: 2 drops in the morning and 4 drops at night. When I bought it I used to have super dry skin and now that summer is back, my skin is becoming oily again and still I didn’t face any problem with this, it was not too oily for me. My skin type has been unusual forever, acne-prone skin which is super dry in winter and super oily in summer. I have super sensitive skin and almost every moisturizer breaks me out but surprisingly this didn’t. My skin texture improved a lot and my skin looked healthier, even my acnes were in control.

I didn't expect it to be this good, worth every penny super hydrating, improves skin texture, gives glowing and healthy skin. Furthermore, it is affordable, available in several sizes, very easy to find and even very easy to use. I personally love this product; it doesn’t matter if you have oily skin, acne-prone skin or dry skin I will definitely recommend trying this out.

SUNSCREEN IS IMPORTANT: Nature Republic ICE Puff Sun

Do you use sunscreen? Is your sunscreen oily? Causes acne?

Sunscreen is essential for all skin type doesn’t matter what your skin tone is, even if your skin doesn’t burn easily. Sun burn occurs instantly but the sun damage occurs over a lifetime.

The purpose of this sun’s cream is to protect the skin from UV rays, correct the skin tone and soothes the skin. Other than this it contains chamomile extract which helps soften the skin also hyaluronic acid which helps to moisturize the skin. In my opinion I truly feel before. Ice Sun is more fascinating because of the packaging, this is what Ice Sun is a unique sunscreen, it is definitely a product that I haven’t seen makes it more attractive, one of the main reason for me to love this product .

The texture of Ice Sun is superb, it is not thick or sticky at all. It even gives a bit of coverage without looking too white like other sunscreen which reminds me of BB cream. My skin is super sensitive and acne prone, surprisingly this is the first sunscreen which didn't break me out and it is not oily at all, however I could feel that it was controlling the oil producing in my skin. It is very important to blend it out blend as soon as you put it on because after it dries down it becomes harder to blend.
I'm a super lazy person and to be honest and I always skipped sunscreen but because of it's packaging, applying sunscreen became so much easier that now I'm using it every day. It's like take a puff rub it on your face and you are done, you don't even have to use your hands.

PS - It might be a bit too pricey for a sunscreen but it will last for a long time and the product is totally worth each and every penny.

Skin Watchers - Green Snail Healing Gel Cream

I have been using this for a long time as you can see it's almost empty. My skin is combination, really oily in summer and really dry in winter. I started using this when my skin was more in the oily side, now my skin is more in the dry side and it's still working great. It's a gel type formula

 which is great for people with acne prone or oily skin I believe.
Before I started using this, my skin texture was horrible. I had oily skin but the texture looked like I badly need moisturizer and as we all know oily skin looks oily then how is that even possible? Actually it's possible. Used a lot of products but still my skin texture was not improving much. I was pretty impressed with the formula because I hate oily products so I have a hard time finding moisturizers that I would love, yes we can easily get oil-free moisturizer but that formula never really satisfied me. I have really really sensitive skin, literally everything breaks me out but this didn't. I saw a huge change in my skin texture after I started using this on regular basis (don't expect a product to work 100% if you are not regular) My skin texture improved 90%, my skin looks super smooth, really really soft and I'm really satisfied with the results and it controls oil too. And now that my skin is more dry then before it's still working great on me but the only thing is I have to apply maybe a bit more times now but still it's giving me the same results

.
 One thing that everyone should know- this doesn't have sunscreen but don't think too much, it's totally worth getting. Overall I love this product, the best moisturizer I came across till now

Chica Y Chico Tota- S3.0

Recently I was suffering from horrible breakouts; I was looking for a solution and came across to this Korean product called Chica Y Chico Tota-S 3.0. It turned out to be really exciting for me when I went through all the positive attitudes that I was getting from the reviews, it claims to fights against skin irritating factors due to clogged, fight acne, clear off all black dots, reduce scars etc

Ingredient Water , Butylene Glycol , Centella Asiatica Extract , Portulaca Oleracea Extract , Glycerin , Cetyl Ethylhexanoate , Totarol , Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract , Sodium Polyacrylate , Sodium Hyaluronate , Biosaccharide Gum-1 , Panthenol , Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate , Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate , Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract , Allantoin , Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Powder, Ethoxydiglycol , Alcohol , 1,2-Hexanediol , Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylhydroxamic acid, Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract

It comes in a 30ml squeeze plastic tube with a twist-off cape. It is for all type of skin including sensitive skin. Unlike benzoyl peroxide, this does not sting and didn't dry out my skin either. Currently my skin type is combination of oily and dry with few active breakouts. It has a gel texture which is not sticky at all and it absorbed easily into my skin. This has a strong smell which I didn't like, but the scent fades away after it dries. I used it on my bare skin before bed for five weeks, guess what? I didn't notice any difference at all. This product didn't cure my acnes neither reduce any scars. It didn't break me out either. Even the packaging broke and the product didn't stop coming out so I had to threw it away. I'm pretty disappointed it did not work out for me.

I will not be repurchasing and I do not recommend it to anyone. Keep in mind; everyone has different types of skin. This didn't work for me that don’t mean it won't work for you.

APRILSKIN Magic Snow Sheet Mask

           When I first saw the claims of this mask I was super excited to try this sheet mask. I was facing a huge skin problem for the last 10 months which is sunburn and discoloration.

I was truly impressed just after the third application of the mask as it the difference was noticeable *as you can see in the picture* It removed most of my sunburns and discolorations. My skin was looking super fresh and glowing. It contains highly concentrated essence which improved my skin texture as well. As my skin is very sensitive so every product really doesn’t work for me but it really impressed me a lot. It has an refreshing lime-ish scent which I love. 

This mask contains 19 natural ingredients some of them are :

phytosaqualane, apple extract, frape extract, orange peel extract, hamomillaextract, centella asiatica extract, Acai palm extract, blueberry extract, β-glucan.

It also contains 81% sparassis crispa extract which helps to brighten up dull skin and uneven skin tone.

How to use:

At Night 

1) Clean your face with cleanser/facewash

2) Use toner

3) Apply Magic Snow Mask on your face

4) Remove it after 10-20 minutes (I always kept it for 20 minutes)

5) Apply the remaining essence from the sheet mask's packaging on your neck

6) Wash it off in the morning (NOT at night, sleep with it)
